Today is our 3rd wedding anniversary. We got married in Bali exactly 3 years from today. Time goes so fast when we’re having fun.
I made an impromptu reservation at Guy Savoy restaurant in Paris. I googled recommended restaurant and this one got 4.5 stars from the tripadvisor website. According to the website, the pricing was €€€€€ but I didn’t know that it was seriously that much!!
Let’s say that the Husband almost fainted when he saw the first page of the menu😉
So this is for sure a one off thing in our life. Very interesting experience and the cost of the lunch can buy me a speedy Louis Vuitton bag with some change to buy food in a “normal” restaurant in Paris.
Guy Savoy restaurant is apparently a 3 Michelin stars restaurant. According to the waiter, three stars is the most you can get from Michelin.
Despite the price, the food was AMAZING! Seriously I have never tasted food that good before. If people could have an orgasm based on food they are eating, I had mine that day many times over! I didn’t know how to explain it in words. It was just beautiful.
The service was so good. We were greeted by Hubert who was there all the time to explain everything and introduced us to the kitchen staff.

Here we go. I ticked another item on my bucket list: eating in a Michelin star restaurant.
Is it worth it?
If money is not an issue. Oh yes! But I don’t think we’ll ever spend that much money on one meal again.
Hubert told me one of their regular clients have been going there for lunch everyday for the past 16 years. Clearly it must be worth it.
